Quality is Key

In a recent study, researchers performed an independent analysis of several over-the-counter vitamin D supplements, and the results were surprising.  The actual vitamin content varied from as low as 9 percent to as high as 146 percent of the amount of vitamin D listed on the bottle.

If you take a poor quality Vitamin D brand then there is no guarantee you will see the expected benefits to your health.  Ask your naturopathic doctor for specific dosing recommendations.  It may be necessary to have Vitamin D levels measured in your blood before the ideal dose for you is determined.

In the realm of healthcare and prevention the quality, dosing, absorbability and purity of source are all extremely important.   Naturopathic doctors spend a considerable amount of time learning about the best quality supplements and we pass our findings onto you, our patients.
